Summary
This study looks at whether adding atorvastatin or rosuvastatin to the standard blood thinner clopidogrel, given within 24 hours of a first large-vessel stroke, can lower the chance of having another stroke within three months. About 600 adults aged 18-75 who had their first major stroke will take part. The main goal is to see which statin works better at preventing new strokes and improving recovery.
