New drug aimed at boosting success of stroke clot removal
NCT ID NCT04785066
Summary
This study tested if giving a drug called dornase alfa during standard stroke treatment helps clear blocked arteries more completely. It involved 39 stroke patients who were already receiving clot-busting medication and were eligible for a procedure to physically remove the clot. The goal was to see if the added drug could improve blood flow to the brain after the main procedure.
