Experimental cell therapy injected directly into brain arteries after stroke
NCT ID NCT03915431
Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety of an experimental cell therapy called NCS-01 for people who have just had a stroke. Doctors inject the therapy directly into the artery that supplies blood to the brain within 48 hours of stroke symptoms starting. The main goal is to see if the treatment is safe and well-tolerated, while also checking for any early signs that it might help with recovery.
