First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at how the brain talks to muscles in people who have had a stroke. Researchers will use gentle brain stimulation and measure brain and muscle activity while participants squeeze a device with their weak hand. The goal is to see if stimulation improves communication and hand control. The study involves 20 adults who are at least 6 months past a stroke and have hand weakness.
