Vibrations and lasers: a new hope for stroke recovery?

NCT ID NCT07206485

Summary

This study tested whether combining gentle vibrations (vibroacoustic therapy) and laser-guided movement exercises could help people recover their balance after a stroke. Forty-four stroke patients were divided into groups to try different combinations of these therapies along with standard physical therapy. Researchers measured improvements in balance, walking ability, and how well patients could perform daily tasks.
