Can a gentle buzz help stroke survivors stand steadier?
NCT ID NCT05760885
Summary
This study is testing whether a special vibration therapy can help people who've had a stroke improve their standing balance. Researchers will have 36 stroke survivors try a 10-week balance training program, where half will receive gentle vibrations on their ankles and feet during exercises. The goal is to see if this extra sensory feedback helps the brain better control balance and reduces swaying.
