New exercise program aims to boost arm movement after stroke
NCT ID NCT06517251
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a special arm and hand exercise program to usual stroke rehab helps people recover movement and function better. Researchers will enroll 80 recent stroke survivors in Belgium and randomly assign them to receive either the new arm exercises or a matched program of leg exercises. The main goal is to see if the extra arm therapy improves people's ability to use their affected arm in daily activities.
