Summary
This study tested whether a supplement called Striatin, made from snakehead fish extract, can help severely malnourished children gain weight and reduce inflammation. Thirty children received either Striatin or a placebo alongside standard nutritional therapy. The goal was to see if Striatin boosts weight, improves inflammatory markers, and changes gut bacteria.
