First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether doing simple leg stretches during dialysis sessions can help reduce the burden of muscle cramps. Sixty adults on dialysis who often get leg cramps took part. Half did nurse-guided stretches twice a week for 8 weeks, while the other half received usual care. The goal was to see if the stretching group had less severe cramps afterward.
