Stress first aid for frontline workers: a lifeline against burnout?

Summary
This study tests whether a program called Stress First Aid (SFA) can reduce burnout and increase social support for substance use outreach workers. About 500 workers in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and tribal areas will either receive SFA or no extra support. Researchers will measure changes in burnout and social support two months later.
