Squeeze away the fear: stress ball and music ease colonoscopy discomfort
NCT ID NCT07590869
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether using a stress ball and listening to relaxing music during a colonoscopy can reduce pain and anxiety. 100 adults undergoing the procedure without sedation were split into two groups: one used the stress ball and music, the other received standard care. The goal was to see if these simple, low-cost tools could make the experience more comfortable.
