Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app called SAM (Stress Autism Mate) can help adults with borderline personality disorder (BPD) traits manage daily stress. Sixteen people used the app for four weeks while continuing their regular treatment. The app asked about their activities and feelings several times a day, gave real-time feedback, and offered stress-reducing tips. Researchers looked at changes in stress levels, coping skills, and resilience.
