Weight lifting trial offers hope for pancreatic cancer Patients' strength and well-being
NCT ID NCT07470268
Summary
This study will test whether a 12-week supervised weight training program can help patients with advanced pancreatic cancer maintain muscle mass and improve their quality of life while undergoing chemotherapy. Ten participants will be randomly assigned to either follow the strength training program twice a week or receive standard care without the exercise program. Researchers will measure changes in muscle mass, strength, and how patients feel physically and emotionally.
