Heavy or light weights? study tests best way to rebuild torn achilles

NCT ID NCT06912269

Summary

This study aims to find the best strength training intensity to help men recover from a past Achilles tendon rupture. Researchers will compare a 12-week program of low-intensity training (55% of max) to moderate-intensity training (70% of max) to see which better improves ankle function, muscle strength, and tendon health. The goal is to provide clearer guidance for long-term rehabilitation of this common and debilitating injury.
