First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding strength and balance exercises to standard cardiac rehab classes helps older adults (50+) improve their fitness and feel more confident. About 53 participants will be split into two groups: one doing usual aerobic rehab, the other adding strength and balance moves. After 12 weeks, researchers will measure changes in physical function, balance confidence, and fear of falling.
