Summary
This study looked at whether eating strawberries can help improve cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood vessel function in overweight or obese adults at risk for heart disease and metabolic syndrome. 48 participants ate strawberries as part of their diet, and researchers measured changes in blood fats, insulin response, and other health markers. The goal was to see if this simple food addition could reduce the risk of chronic disease.
