Emergency vs planned stoma: which leads to better quality of life?

Summary
This study looks at how well a stoma works and how it affects quality of life in people with colorectal cancer. It compares those who had emergency stoma surgery with those who had planned surgery. About 700 participants will fill out a questionnaire about their stoma function and overall well-being about two years after their procedure.
