New drug combo trial aims to shrink tumors before stomach cancer surgery

Summary
This study is testing whether combining immunotherapy and targeted drugs with standard chemotherapy before surgery can better shrink tumors in people with advanced stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer. The goal is to see if this approach leads to more complete tumor removal and better long-term outcomes. The trial will enroll 80 participants and compare two different drug combination strategies.
