New drug combo trial aims to shrink tumors before stomach cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT06693128
Summary
This study is testing whether giving patients with advanced stomach or gastroesophageal cancer a combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy drugs before surgery can help shrink their tumors. The goal is to see if this 'pre-surgery' treatment makes the subsequent operation more successful and improves long-term survival. The trial will involve 80 participants who have not yet received treatment for their cancer.
