First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at different ways surgeons rebuild the digestive tract after removing the upper part of the stomach due to cancer. The goal is to find which method causes fewer problems like acid reflux, trouble swallowing, and poor nutrition, and leads to a better quality of life. About 400 adults with stomach or junction cancer will be followed for one year after surgery to compare outcomes.
