Summary
This study is testing if practicing with a fake stoma bag before surgery helps reduce patients' anxiety and makes it easier to adapt to life with a stoma afterward. Researchers will compare two groups of patients having planned stoma surgery: one group will try the practice bag, and the other will receive standard care. The main goal is to see if this simple practice session leads to less worry before surgery and better adjustment in the weeks following the operation.
