New drug during prostate surgery aims to boost cancer fight

Summary

This early-stage trial tests a new drug called STM-416p, given directly into the prostate area during surgery to remove the prostate in men with prostate cancer. The main goal is to check the drug's safety and find the best dose. About 18 men with intermediate to high-risk prostate cancer will take part.
