Kidney patients tested for drug safety

NCT ID NCT05735951

Summary

This study tested how the body processes the seizure medication stiripentol in people with different levels of kidney function. It involved 39 adults, some with healthy kidneys and others with mild to severe kidney disease. The goal was to see if the standard dose needs to be adjusted for people whose kidneys don't work as well.
