New hope for sickle cell kids struggling in school?

Summary
This study is testing if a daily ADHD medication called methylphenidate is safe and practical for children with sickle cell disease who have trouble with focus, memory, and schoolwork. Over 4 weeks, 30 children will take the medication once a day to see if they can stick with it and if it helps their thinking skills. The study also aims to understand why parents might or might not choose this treatment for their child.
