New study aims to boost HIV prevention in women and trans people

Summary

This study focuses on helping cisgender women and transgender individuals who are at risk for HIV to start and continue taking PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV infection. Researchers will survey about 175 participants to understand their preferences for different PrEP options and what makes it easier or harder to stay on track. The goal is to improve HIV prevention strategies for these communities.
