Do Pre-Birth steroids change a Baby's blood?

NCT ID NCT07358845

Summary

This study looked at whether steroids given to pregnant women at risk of early delivery affect blood cell counts in their premature babies. Researchers analyzed blood samples from over 1,000 preterm infants to see if the timing and dose of the steroid treatment changed levels of hemoglobin and red blood cells. The goal was to gather knowledge to help doctors better understand and interpret blood test results in newborns.
