New study aims to find best way to control Steroid-Caused diabetes

Summary

This study compares two treatment plans for people who develop diabetes from taking steroid medications. One plan uses a combination of a GLP-1 receptor agonist and long-acting insulin, while the other uses standard intensive insulin therapy. The goal is to see which approach better controls blood sugar levels and improves patient satisfaction. About 100 adults with steroid-induced diabetes will take part.
