Kids' voices sought to measure hidden cost of lifesaving steroids
NCT ID NCT07350395
Summary
This study aims to create a new questionnaire to measure how steroid medications impact the daily lives and well-being of children and young people with rheumatic diseases like juvenile arthritis and lupus. Researchers will talk to patients and their parents in focus groups to understand their experiences with steroids, including both benefits and side effects. The goal is to develop a tool that better captures the patient's perspective on treatment, which can be used in future care and research.
