New drops target the root of smell loss
NCT ID NCT07386873
Summary
This study aims to see if steroid drops placed directly into the upper nasal area work better than standard steroid sprays at improving the sense of smell in people with chronic sinusitis. Researchers will enroll 54 adults who have lost their smell due to a blockage in this specific area. They will compare how well the two different methods reduce inflammation and help people smell again.
