Summary
This study tests a new device called STERN FIX, used alongside standard wires, to close the breastbone after heart surgery. It includes 90 patients at higher risk for healing problems, such as those with obesity or diabetes. The goal is to see if STERN FIX provides better stability than wires alone one month after surgery.
