Summary
This study looked at whether using genetic tests called FirstStepDx PLUS and NextStepDx PLUS helps doctors make better diagnoses for children with intellectual disability or developmental delay. 217 pediatric specialists and general pediatricians participated. The study measured how well doctors diagnosed and treated these children, comparing those who used the genetic tests to those who did not.
