NCT ID NCT06668402
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at whether being more active, especially walking more each day, helps people with advanced rectal cancer respond better to chemotherapy and radiation before surgery. About 200 participants will wear a smartwatch to track steps, heart rate, and sleep. The goal is to see if higher step counts lead to fewer cancer cells left at surgery and fewer side effects.
