First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study tests three common medications—tamsulosin, solifenacin, and mirabegron—to see which one works best for reducing pain and urinary symptoms caused by a ureteral stent placed after kidney stone surgery. About 189 adults will take one of the drugs for a short time and report their symptoms using a questionnaire. The goal is to find the most effective option to improve comfort while the stent is in place.
