Summary
This early-stage study tests whether stem cells from donated umbilical cords are safe and helpful for people who had a stroke within the last two weeks. Forty participants receive the cells and are watched for side effects and changes in symptoms over 26 weeks. The goal is to see if this treatment can improve recovery, but it is still in a very early phase.
