Summary
This study tested whether stem cells from umbilical cords (and their secretions) could help women with PCOS who have insulin resistance and trouble getting pregnant. 44 women received either stem cells, the secretions, both, or a placebo. The goal was to see if these treatments could improve hormone levels and insulin resistance, which are key factors in PCOS-related infertility.
