First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested whether stem cells from umbilical cords and their secretions (secretomes) could help women with PCOS and insulin resistance become more fertile. 44 women received either stem cells, secretomes, both, or a placebo. The goal was to see if these treatments could improve hormone levels and reduce insulin resistance, which are key issues in PCOS-related infertility.
