First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tests whether stem cells from donated fat tissue can help prevent kidney injury from getting worse in people who have been severely hurt in an accident or burn. About 70 adults in intensive care will receive the stem cells to see if it is safe and helps their kidneys recover faster. The goal is to reduce the need for dialysis and improve outcomes.
