Personal stem cells tested to ease MS burden
NCT ID NCT05116540
Summary
This study tested whether a series of infusions using a patient's own stem cells could improve quality of life for people with multiple sclerosis (MS). Twenty-four participants with relapsing-remitting MS received either the stem cell treatment or a placebo over a year, while continuing their standard MS medications. The main goal was to see if the treatment improved physical and mental well-being, measured through detailed questionnaires.
