Fat stem cells may speed up shoulder recovery
NCT ID NCT06505135
First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding stem cells from a patient's own fat tissue to standard rotator cuff surgery can speed up recovery and improve shoulder function. About 30 adults with a torn rotator cuff will receive either surgery alone or surgery plus the stem cell treatment. The goal is to see if the stem cells help the tendon heal better and reduce pain.
