Summary
This study tested a two-step stem cell transplant for people with high-risk blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma. First, patients got low-dose chemotherapy and radiation to prepare the body. Then, they received donor immune cells followed by donor stem cells to help destroy cancer. The goal was to see if this approach could keep cancer from returning for at least a year.
