First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests whether a stem cell transplant using the patient's own cells can help young people (ages 8 to 25) with life-threatening lupus or scleroderma. The goal is to wipe out the faulty immune system and allow a new, healthy one to grow. The trial will track how long patients stay free of disease progression over two years.
