First human test: can stem cells fight aging frailty?

NCT ID NCT07462819

Summary

This is an early safety study to see if a new stem cell therapy called Stemis™ is safe for older adults with mild to moderate frailty. About 12 participants, aged 60-85, will receive either the stem cell infusion or a placebo (saltwater) and be closely monitored for side effects. The main goal is to find a safe dose and check for any problems, while also exploring if it might improve walking, strength, or quality of life.
