Summary

This study tested a stem cell product called Remestemcel-L for people with severe ulcerative colitis that did not get better with standard treatments. The goal was to see if injecting these cells into the colon was safe and could help patients avoid surgery or stronger drugs. Only 7 adults took part before the study was ended early.
