Summary
This study tested the safety of a single IV infusion of a person's own fat-derived stem cells for active rheumatoid arthritis. Fifteen adults with active RA received the infusion and were monitored for side effects over 12 months. The main goal was to see if the treatment is safe, with a secondary look at its effect on inflammation markers.
