One-Time stem cell boost may slow Alzheimer's decline

Summary

This small pilot study will test whether adding one infusion of human mesenchymal stem cells to standard antibody therapy can help stabilize memory and daily function in people with mild Alzheimer's or mild cognitive impairment. Ten participants aged 55-90 who have been on antibody treatment for at least 6 months will receive the stem cell infusion. The study will measure changes in cognitive tests and daily living skills over time.
