Could one stem cell infusion slow Alzheimer's?
NCT ID NCT07512362
First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a single infusion of human mesenchymal stem cells to standard antibody therapy can help stabilize memory and thinking in people with mild Alzheimer's or mild cognitive impairment. Ten participants aged 55-90 who are already on an FDA-approved antibody drug will receive the stem cell infusion. The goal is to see if this combination slows the decline in daily function and cognition better than antibodies alone.
