Summary
This study tested a procedure called a stellate ganglion block (SGB) for people with chronic migraine that did not get better with standard treatments. The block is an injection near the neck that temporarily numbs certain nerves. Researchers wanted to see if it could reduce the number of headache days and pain intensity over 6 months. The study included 42 adults aged 18 to 65 with chronic migraine.
