NCT ID NCT04636138
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at why some people on statins may not get the full benefits of exercise. Researchers will have 5 adults who take high-dose atorvastatin do supervised exercise for 6 weeks. They will measure changes in fitness and link them to each person's genetic makeup. The goal is to understand how genes influence exercise adaptation in statin users.
