NCT ID NCT04636138
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether genetic differences change how well exercise works for people taking statins. Five overweight or obese adults on high-dose atorvastatin will do supervised exercise for 6 weeks. Researchers will measure fitness changes and link them to each person's genes. The goal is to understand why some statin users don't get the same exercise benefits.
