Can breaking up sitting time with short walks boost health in older adults?
NCT ID NCT06023680
Summary
This study is testing two simple walking programs to help older adults at risk of frailty sit less. Researchers want to see if it's easier to replace 30 minutes of daily sitting with one longer walk or three shorter walks. They will also check if moving more improves how participants feel and affects markers of inflammation and metabolism in the body.
